HARBOURSIDE: THE ESSENTIALS

All rooms are air-conditioned, have high-speed Wi-Fi and disabled access.

Once you’re inside, you’ll find plenty of signage, as well as NDF staff, to help you navigate between the rooms.

Harbourside Function Centre is just a two min walk from Te Papa National Museum, only a five minutes’ walk from Wellington CBD, and just 20 minutes’ drive from Wellington airport.

WHERE TO PARK

The nearest large carpark is at Te Papa. You can take a ticket at the entry gate or alternatively use your payment card (NZ cards only) to enter the car park (no ticket is required if you use your card to enter the car park).

Parking for visitors with disabilities

Park close to our ground-floor entrance at one of five accessible car park spaces:

•  Two uncovered

•  Three covered

Parking cannot be reserved in advance.

Bicycles and motor scooters

Parking is available near the exit to the covered car park.

BATHROOMS

Bathrooms are located directly outside each room and each has disability access.

FREE WI-FI

Unlimited use of free Wi-Fi is also included.

SMOKING

Our venue is smoke free, however there are designated smoking areas outside, please use ash trays provided. Smoking is permitted on the balconies.

EVACUATION PROCEDURES

In the event where an evacuation is required, an alarm will sound, please walk calmly to the nearest exit. The meeting point is directly in front of the Wellington Free Ambulance building on the waterfront side, Harbourside staff will then check all levels to ensure all areas are clear. In the event of an emergency use the stairs only.
